Overview
Experience the western end of the gorge system on the Baruwei lookout and loop day walks. Both provide excellent photo opportunities and stunning scenery.
The 1.8Km roundtrip Baruwei Lookout Walk takes approximately one hour and provides views of the picnic area, Nitmiluk Gorge and 17 Mile Valley.
The 4.8Km Baruwei Loop Walk takes approximately 2 hours and goes via the Baruwei lookout and back along the escarpment towards the Visitor Centre.
Both trails are clearly marked every 20-50 metres and suitable for those with a moderate level of fitness.
