Overview
The Green Season 1 Gorge Cruise is a 1.5-hour experience through the stunning First Gorge of Nitmiluk Gorge, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the dramatic sandstone cliffs, rich wildlife, and cultural significance of Jawoyn Country during the tropical Green Season.
During this time of year, river levels fluctuate depending on rainfall both locally and across the wider catchment area. As a result, access to the Second Gorge is not always possible due to flooded walkways, and tours may operate exclusively within the First Gorge. Despite this, the experience remains spectacular, with lush landscapes, flowing waterfalls, and vibrant scenery unique to the Green Season.
