Turn back the clock as you depart the Nitmiluk helipad. Destination: 40,000 years ago. Fly deep into the heart of the Dreamtime to an amazing Jawoyn art site. Your guide will assist you in interpreting the artwork and the secrets of this ancient land. Enjoy a refreshing swim before flying back over the rugged stone country and all 13 Gorges on your return to the modern world.

  • A minimum of 2, maximum of 3 passengers are required for each flight departure. Nitmiluk Helicopters will endeavour to accommodate single passenger’s bookings.
  • Please make sure you bring swimwear and a towel
  • A picnic hamper is available at an additional cost
  • To access the rock art (there are 5 mini galleries), it is necessary to walk over rocky, natural paths. Make sure you wear the right footwear and always be aware of your surroundings
  • Weight restrictions apply per seat and per helicopter. Max weight per person: 130Kg - Max weight in total: 210Kg


DURATION: Additional 15 minutes (ground time)

WALKING: approx. 50m

This upgrade option is a remote landing above the tranquil 10th Gorge. Guests have an opportunity for a unique photo opportunity amongst the rocky country atop Nitmiluk Gorge.


DURATION: Additional 20 minutes (flying time)

This upgrade option takes the scenic route back to the Nitmiluk Heli-pad, overflying 17 Mile Valley. The flight path will include Biddlecombe Cascades and Northern Rockhole, offering guests a greater perspective of the Nitmiluk National Park.


Awesome scenery

The flight over the 13 gorges was fantastic. We landed at a magnificent rock art site with no one in site and beautifully and respectfully guided by our pilot who was passionate - highly recommended.
