This inspiring cultural presentation allows groups to gain a deeper understanding for Jawoyn Culture first hand.
Our Indigenous guides will provide information on traditional activities such as basket weaving, spear throwing, fire lighting, painting, and didgeridoo playing.
Traditionally, activities were divided into ‘Men's business’ and ‘Women's business’. During the presentation our Cultural Team will discuss both roles in the Jawoyn Culture, touching on topics such as: basket making and weaving, hunting tools and techniques, painting & didgeridoo playing.
LOCATION:
Footsteps Tours will be held at the Nitmiluk Cultural Centre, located at the Entrance of the Park (4kms from the Nitmiluk Visitors Centre – Parking available).

Inspiring cultural tour
Awesome and inspiring. So culturally enriching for our family. We felt privileged to be allowed such insights into the worlds most ancient and proud people. We learnt so much. Could not be more highly recommended.
