Held at the Nitmiluk Cultural Centre, our Indigenous guides will introduce you to the Jawoyn culture and traditional activities such as basket weaving, spear throwing, fire lighting, painting, and didgeridoo playing (based on availability).
All tours will be held at the Nitmiluk Cultural Centre, located at the Entrance of the Park (4kms from the Nitmiluk Visitors Centre – Parking available)

My favourite time of the year is the wet season – the life bringing rains rejuvenate the landscape. Bush tucker is abundant, the plants grow back, animals can find water easily and of course the waterfalls start flowing!
There are so many beautiful places at Nitmiluk, but if I had to choose just 1… or 2, I would choose Crystal Falls or the Amphitheatre. Being at these places makes you feel you’re in a whole new world.”
“Katherine is my home – I grew up here amongst the rugged landscapes and immersed in the Culture. When I was younger, I volunteered with Rangers and older Family Members who were working as Tour Guides.
I wanted to work on Country at Nitmiluk to share stories of my ancestors and pass on the knowledge. I’ve loved being able to do this for the past 3.5years as part of the Cultural, Caves & River Teams.
