Our guides

Nitmiluk has been providing world-class authentic experiences since 1993. For our guides, a trip along the river means so much more than just a tour.

We are very fortunate to have guides who are incredibly passionate, experienced and professional, with an intimate knowledge and understanding of the Katherine River’s year cycle and wildlife. The Nitmiluk Guides will provide you with in-depth, memorable experiences and factual information to enhance your visit beyond your expectations.

Many also hold qualifications in hospitality, eco-tourism and other interesting fields and we are proud to welcome many of them back year after year.

Our guides are chosen for their complete dedication to interpreting those wonders that make every place unique.

Extremely knowledgeable and supremely organized, our guides oversee every detail of your tour. They will provide up to date information on the history, natural and cultural information on the majestic Katherine Gorge.
