The Northern Rockhole is a seasonal waterfall, positioned 4kms from the Nitmiluk Visitors Centre.

When opened for swimming, day walkers are permitted to do this self-guided walk at their own leisure.

To begin this walk, a boat ferry is required to cross the river (at the beginning and end of your hike – set times avaliable).

Day use along this track is to the Northern Rockhole only.

For Jatbula Trail Permit holders, the Northern Rockhole will be the first stop on your Nitmiluk journey.

NOTE: Swimming at this location is not appropriate year round. Please enquire with Reservations staff for further information before your hike.
